Paving Project Update

As you are aware, United Paving will be starting the Village’s paving project next Wednesday, August 5.
Central Avenue – between Main Street and East Street, will temporarily be closed for approximately 3 days (August 5 – August 7, 2026), weather pending.
East Street – between Alexandria Avenue and Railway Avenue, will temporarily be closed for approximately 3-4 days (August 7 – August 11), weather pending.
Main Street – South side of the tracks, will be seeing ongoing improvements between these days.

Streets Paving Project

As you may be aware, the Village will be repaving East St (between Alexandria Ave and Railway Ave) and Central Ave (between East St. and Main St.) United Paving will be here next Wednesday, August 5, weather permitting. The roads will be temporarily closed during this time. Once we have a more detailed schedule, we will let you know what roads will be closed and when. The project should be finished up by August 14. Feel free to reach out to the office, if you have questions.

Rink Avenue – No Through Access

Please note that Rink Avenue is closed to through traffic. Barricades are in place, and the road will remain closed for the foreseeable future to allow the ground, where a water leak was repaired a few months ago, to dry before it can be compacted with gravel. Use the detour via East and West access across the rail tracks. Thank you for your understanding.
