Transfer Station Hours of Operation Update
Please be advised that as of September 28, 2026 the Village of Bethune transfer station will be open only Saturdays from 10am to 4pm.
It will be closed the rest of the week.

Portable Waterfill Station Out of Order
Please be advised that the portable waterfill station in the village is out of service. An update will be provided as soon as the equipment back in operation.

2026 Annual Notice to Consumers, Municipal Waterworks
Paving Project Update
As you are aware, United Paving will be starting the Village’s paving project next Wednesday, August 5.
Central Avenue – between Main Street and East Street, will temporarily be closed for approximately 3 days (August 5 – August 7, 2026), weather pending.
East Street – between Alexandria Avenue and Railway Avenue, will temporarily be closed for approximately 3-4 days (August 7 – August 11), weather pending.
Main Street – South side of the tracks, will be seeing ongoing improvements between these days.

Streets Paving Project
As you may be aware, the Village will be repaving East St (between Alexandria Ave and Railway Ave) and Central Ave (between East St. and Main St.) United Paving will be here next Wednesday, August 5, weather permitting. The roads will be temporarily closed during this time. Once we have a more detailed schedule, we will let you know what roads will be closed and when. The project should be finished up by August 14.
