Transfer Station Opening Hours

Please be advised that Transfer Station will be open Saturday November 15, 2025 while the weather is still permitting. Open hours are from 10am to 4pm.
If you have any refuse, please take this opportunity to dispose it as this will be the last open Saturday for the year.

Scheduled Power Outage for the Village of Bethune

SaskPower will be conducting system maintenance on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 7.00 to 11.30 am. This will result in a power outage for approximately 4.5 hours that will lead to a Precautionary Drinking Water Advisory. The PDWA Notice will be provided Friday by Water Security Agency.

Council Meeting Change Dates

Please be informed that the upcoming Village Council meetings are scheduled for Tuesday, November 4, 2025, and Wednesday, December 17, 2025.

Additionally, with changing weather and more snow expected, we kindly request everyone to do their best to maintain the sidewalks near their properties.

Decommissioning of the Petroleum Assets at the Bethune Co-op

Please be advised that FCL as per schedule will be decommissioning the petroleum assets at the Bethune Co-op. The work will start Tuesday October 14, 2025 for approximately 10 days. The tanks will be pulled on October 15 and excavation and backfilling will follow.
Construction fence will be installed on a portion of Ford Street and Kelvin Avenue, adjacent to the northwest corner of the Co-op. The road will not be fully blocked, but will be narrowed from the set up of the fence.
Please be mindful as there will be heavy construction equipment in place.

Mail Disruption

Due to Canada Post disruption, Utility Billings for October 2025 will not be delivered by mail.
To ensure you receive your bill, please either:
1. Come to the office and collect paper copy.
2. Contact the office by phone (306) 638 3188 or e-mail: villageofbethune@bethunesk.ca to find out the amount and/or request billing to be e-mailed.
3. Sign up for electronic mail and all your Utilities and taxes will be sent via e-mail to the address provided in the signed up document, copy of which can be obtained from the office.
