Streets Grading – Starting June 13, 2025

The Village of Bethune is planning to start grading unpaved streets Friday June 13, 2025. Please make sure that any vehicles parked on the streets and waste bins removed. This will allow heavy equipment to operate freely.
Reminder to people with children that heavy equipment will be in most parts of the village. Please be mindful.

Free Clean-Up Week Moved Dates

Please be advised that the Village Transfer Station will be closed as of today, Tuesday May 20, 2025, due to the weather.
It will be re-opened Saturday May 24th as a standard service.
FREE WEEK has now been moved to May 26 to May 31, 2025. The hours of operation will be as previously set: Monday to Friday between 4pm to 8pm, Saturday from 10am to 4pm.

Strrets Sweeping

Street sweeping of the paved streets in the community will be in effect Wednesday April 16, 2025.
Please ensure any parked vehicles are moved from all paved surfaces and use caution around maintenance equipment, if out driving or walking in the work area.
Contractors do their best to mitigate dust during street sweeping, however, at times due to amounts of materials on the paved surfaces, this cannot be avoided.

Your patience and understanding are greatly appreciated.

Village Roads Temporary Closure

Due to the resent water mains repairs and the weather conditions East Street at Core Bookkeeping Services from Central Avenue to Kelvin Avenue and on Goderich Street from Kelvin Avenue to Railway Avenue will be temporary blocked.
Please use detour via Ford Street, Railway or Kelvin Avenue to avoid extra damage to the road while the ground gets harden.
